Growing in an organic way

Here at Stonelands we grow all of our fruit and vegetables in an organic way. We do not use any chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides in the production of any of our crops. We use a no dig approach to gardening and this way aim to leave the soil structure in tact. For adding fertility to the soil we add manure and home-made compost. The compost that we use for starting off some plants is certified organic. We do not spray our fruit canes, bushes or trees with anything to stop pests but use a combination of netting and various mulches to improve soil and thereby plant health.
